Back in business. Fresh out of my photography class, I am hoping to offer more appetizing recipes… A new blog, new recipes, new resolutions! The older posts will eventually find their way back here, revamped and improved.
Why peas? Peas are overlooked. You hardly ever find a pea dish in a restaurant, and I don’t understand why. Is it because it is one of the oldest crops cultivated by humans? Is it because they need shelling when fresh?
Nonsense! Peas are flavorful, colorful, and easy to prepare. They contain healthy nutrients (coumestrol helps protect from stomach cancer, saponins are excellent antioxidants, proteins, vitamin K and much more). Peas are also an environmentally friendly crop: they feed the soil with nitrogen which acts as a natural fertilizer.
But most importantly every dish with peas is good-looking, delicious and usually appreciated!

So what are you waiting for? Give peas a chance!
Important Tip – To preserve the peas’ bright color, just cook them separately in water, and add them to the recipe at the end. Your dish will look a lot more tantalizing
