Cauliflower is my sweet spot. It is simply beautiful (the cabbage flower, no less) and delicious. It is consumed around the world in a multitude of recipes: seasoned with lemon and deep fried in the middle-east, boiled and accommodated in curries in India, au gratin in France, roasted with herbs, and many more. You can actually use cauliflower instead of chicken in many recipes.
My favorite is roasted, or broiled to be precise. It takes on a nutty flavor that makes it irresistible. Even if I am using cauliflower for a stew orĀ au gratin, I first broil it. An added bonus is that it does not smell as bad as when you boil it.
