This spread is a very bold and unusual one but it is quite amazing as it combines many flavors and textures. Zaatar is middle-eastern blend of dried thyme, toasted sesame seeds and sumac. Serve with pita bread, pita chips or a nice country bread.
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound labne (or cream cheese if you cannot find labne)
- 2 tablespoons shelled and chopped pistachios
- 2 tablespoons zaatar
- 2 tablespoons pomegranate seeds
- 1 tablespoon chopped mint
- Olive oil
Instructions
Spread the labne over a serving plate.
Sprinkle pistachios, zaatar, pomegranate seeds and mint over the labne.
Generously sprinkle olive oil on top.
Dig in with your favorite pita or bread!
